As promised, I am here to blog about my newest adventure. As a lot of you know, I have started selling Wildtree products. Since this is new to our area I thought I would stop by and introduce you to it.
Wildtree is an organic food company. They are part of the direct sales association which means it is sold by individuals across the country that bring it to you via your own home or a party in someone elses home.
- Wildtree was founded on the premise that food should be simple, healthy, natural, and easy to prepare all at the same time.
- WILDTREE wants to help you, the busy mom and dad, bring your family back around the dinner table by giving you the tools to make your family simple. healthy. natural. meals.
So…..I come to your home to make a presentation to you and your friends and family. What does that look like? There are two options. Option #1 is called a Tasting Party. The hostess makes a few food items that I provide her the Wildtree ingredients for and I bring along several more. Everybody has a chance to try before they buy. This time of year gives you the opportunity to hold your party inside or out:
This of course is wonderful, but not required. ☺ This party took place on Witmer Lake.
Here are a few of my hostesses that I remembered to take a picture of. Aren’t they beautiful! You can tell how much fun they are just by looking at them!
Option #2 is called a Freezer Meal Workshop. This is where your guests pre-order a bundle of Wildtree products about a week before the workshop date. They take their provided grocery list to the store and purchase the proteins(meat) and a few vegetables and canned goods and put it into freezer bags. They bring their prepped freezer bags to the workshop, add their Wildtree items, attach a provided freezer label, collect their recipes and freezer inventory, party a little bit as they prep and sample, and then go home with 10-20 meals for the freezer. They have had a nite out with friends while prepping meals to feed their family and it is SO MUCH FUN!
Since I always forget to grab the camera, I borrowed this from a fellow representative but the fun is all the same. ☺
I, for one, love having the meals in my freezer to pull out at the beginning of the week. The instructions even tell you how many your meal is going to feed, how you are going to cook it, how long, and if you will need any added ingredients at prep time. They have done all the thinking for you!
Why did I decide to embark on this new adventure?
- I was ready to go back to work but I didn’t want to work for somebody else. I wanted to set my own schedule.
- I wanted that sense of community. I want to help people–the busy moms and dads–that want to provide the best for their families. It is becoming too easy to stop at the drive-thru or order a pizza. I wanted to give them a simple. healthy. solution to dinnertime.
Let me know if you would like to have a fun evening of either tasting products or making meals to feed your family while spending time with your friends. I am here to help. I will be having a workshop in September at my home or will be happy to do one in your home. Want to join me on this journey either part-time or full time? I am here to help.
I will be at the pavilion on September 5th in Shipshewana, IN across from the flea market from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. along with lots of other entrepreneurs. Come and do some tasting, buy some products, do some Christmas shopping. There will be 19 of us there! The event is called Swing Into Fall. Can you believe it is almost here…FALL?!!!
Watch my facebook page, either my personal page or the Morton Street Project page, for announcements concerning upcoming workshops at my home, product announcements, recipes, etc. and go enjoy what is left of the rest of your summer!
